RACE REPORT - Sandown, Victorian State racing Series 21-23 May 2010.

Daniel put in great lap times for his first ever appearance at Sandown putting in good lap times not far of the leaders. He qualified 7th with 1:16.3609 only 0:00.8061 from P1. He was certainly well in the group of top runners and deserved better results. Unfortunately, he was blocked badly in races 1 and 2 and during race 3 whilst running in a good position was punched off the track from behind and then was taken out of the race that same lap through an incident where another driver drove over Daniel's nose cone putting him into the gravel trap and with enough damage and a car full of gravel his race was over.

The great news is that I am teaming up with Borland Racing Development for 2010 driving a 2008 Spectrum in the Victorian Racing Series.

In addition, we will do a lot of testing at Winton throughout the year starting early April. Racing in the Victorian Series and the testing at Winton is part of my 3 year plan to race in the Australian Formula Ford Championship in 2011 and a suitable category in 2012
