Daniel enjoyed a great day out, setting new personal bests, winning Heat 4 outright and winning Division 2. His Personal Best lap time of 1:19:5069 was also the day's fastest lap time for the ROTAX Non-Gearbox class.

Bad tyre vibrations during practice saw Daniel complete only three laps. One of the new rear tyres was badly out of balance and once balanced caused no further problems. However, with only three laps and no time remaining to do further laps in the Practice session meant the team was unable to collect sufficient data to set the machine up for Heat 1, so the Kart was setup using their data from previous races.

Heat 1 saw Daniel start from Pos 15 but he climbed through the field to finish 6th overall and 2nd in Div 2.

Heat 2 was a reverse grid which meant Pos 1 on the grid. Daniel maintained number 1 for two laps eventually finishing 2nd overall and 1st in Div2. He also set a Personal Best Lap Time of 1:19:8753.

Heat 3 gridding saw Daniel starting in Pos 2, which he maintained throughout, finishing 2nd outright and 1st in Div 2.

The results from the previous 3 Heats gave Daniel starting Pos 3 for Heat 4. It was very close racing at the front for the entire 8 laps with Daniel grabbing the lead two turns from the finish line taking his first ever outright win. He also set a new Personel Best Lap Time of 1:19:5069 which was the day's fastest time for the ROTAX Non-Gearbox Class.
