Daniel had a better day out at Mallala following the short lived 250cc Inter debut in April due to a collision in the first practice session.

Continuing on from his good race meeting at Phillip Island, at the CAMS Nationals on 6 May, Daniel drove well and posted some low times with a best of 1:10.4111 for the day. Quite respectable for his first full meeting in the 250cc Inter at Mallala.

The good times came to an end during heat 3 when on the last lap it appears a bolt broke in the sprocket carrier causing an early end to the day. Fortunately, damage appears minimal but there was not enough time to repair the problem before heat 4. However, the team is pleased with the results and performance on the day.
