One of those days where things just wouldn't go right. A gremlin, which had plagued the kart at a mid March practice/test day, returned with Daniel unable to complete more than 2 laps in each of the Practice sessions. A number of things were tweaked and replaced and the gremlin disappeared with Daniel able to complete the first heat with a reasonable result. Heat 2 appeared OK from the stands, but once back in the pits a number of broken clutch bits spelled a difficult day about to become worse. Heat 3 saw a DNF once the Clutch decided to come apart. After hasty repairs and entering form-up with the skin of his teeth for Heat 4, Daniel was left stranded on the start line, taking no further part in the day's action.
